Dr. Horrible & The Guild Screening was an Amazing Success!
I am way too wiped to write a full blog entry on this thing right now, so I'll just give a quick rundown. This event was amazing. Hundreds of happy Whedon fans laughing and singing together. There were no real problems, everything went very smoothly (except for starting late, but that was the theater's fault, not ours) and we most likely raised thousands of dollars for Path Ventures (I don't have the full amount at this time).

I have to say, I love Whedon fans. They're the most patient, gracious and kindest group of people I've ever known. At all the screenings I've been a part of now (five I think in total), there's never really been a big problem or a complaint. It's just amazing. Last night we had over three hundred people lined up on Beverly Blvd, and it was orderly and fun and awesome. We were all going a little crazy on excitement and adrenaline, but that's to be expected. Eventually, during Dr. Horrible, Joss Whedon, his brothers Jed and Zack, Nathan Fillion and Alan Tudyk all showed up and joined Felicia Day who had shown up earlier to graciously introduce The Guild. I was just floored, not only by the appearances of all these celebrities, but the energy of the audience throughout the entire event. It was REALLY moving.

So for now, instead of going into excruciating detail (that'll be posted on Whedonopolis in the next few days), I'd rather present some pictures I took from the event itself. Enjoy.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to collapse. Again.

I really wanted to come to this, but I really need to stay in conserve mode right now. Good to hear that it was such a rousing success and that Alan, Nathan, Felicia, and Joss and family decided to share in the fun.

(sorry for all the edits, Brian. Can't type today :)
